1. Scope and who this service is for
This Privacy Policy explains how AI Kid Song handles information when adults use our website and personalized song service. The service is intended for parents, guardians, educators, and other adults. Children may not create accounts or purchase song packs.
2. Information we collect
We collect account information such as an email address and encrypted password; transaction and credit records; device, security, and usage information; support communications; and the song story you choose to submit, including a first name or nickname, favorite things, lyrics, and a family message. Please do not submit a child’s address, school, exact birth date, contact details, medical information, government identifiers, or other sensitive information.
3. How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, create and store requested songs, restore in-progress work, process purchases, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, comply with legal obligations, and improve service reliability. We do not sell personal information.
4. Children’s privacy
AI Kid Song is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect account information directly from children. The adult submitting a story confirms that they are authorized to provide it. If you believe a child submitted information without appropriate adult involvement, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.
5. Service providers
We disclose only the information reasonably needed to providers that help operate the service. Cloudflare provides hosting, database, storage, security, and network services. KIE and its underlying model providers process prompts and generated media for AI song creation. When enabled, Creem acts as Merchant of Record and processes checkout, tax, payment, refund, and fraud information under its own terms and privacy notice. Provider handling and retention are also governed by their policies.
6. Cookies and local storage
We use an essential secure session cookie for sign-in and browser storage to preserve creator form progress and recover an in-progress generation after refresh. These are necessary product functions. We do not currently use advertising cookies.
7. Retention
We retain account and purchase records while an account is active and as required for security, accounting, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Creation records remain available in the account until deleted or the account is closed. Temporary uploads are designed to expire after 24 hours. AI providers may maintain their own operational retention periods. Backups and legally required transaction records may remain for a limited period after deletion.
8. Your choices and rights
Signed-in users can request a portable account export and account deletion. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, object to, restrict, or delete personal information. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
9. Security and international processing
We use reasonable safeguards including encrypted transport, hashed passwords, access controls, rate limits, and signed payment webhooks. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their legal and contractual safeguards.
10. Changes and contact
